Puppy Insurance
Contract Terms/Conditions
We advise our clientele to have their puppy checked by an accredited/licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of the purchase of a puppy. This let’s you know that your puppy is off on the right foot and will get your vet familiar with your pet.
Genetics
In the event of the death of your pet after the third year due to any causes outside of neglect (which includes but not limited to daily maintenance, necessary immunization(s), medication(s) and follow-up treatment/checkups, mistreatment etc.) The owner will be credited 50% of the original cost equivalent toward a puppy of the same previous price.
The value of the pet shall be solely and specifically the pet’s original price which does not include microchip, shipping, taxes or any other costs.
In the case that this guarantee is enforced, registration papers must be returned to the seller.
Accidental Death
The seller guarantees the life of the pet for ten years. In the event of the death of your pet due to an accident, a death certificate from a licensed veterinarian must be provided to the seller within 24 hours of the accident.
The owner will be credited 50% of the original cost equivalent toward a puppy of the same previous price.
The value of the pet shall be solely and specifically the pet’s original price which does not include microchip, shipping, taxes or any other costs.
In the case that this guarantee is enforced, registration papers must be returned to the seller.
Lost or Stolen Pets
If the pet is lost or stolen within 10 years of the date of birth the owner must advertise the missing pet in a major newspaper for at least a period of one week within 24 hours of the pet being missing. Also, you must contact the police department, humane society, animal control and show documented proof of all the previous as well as proof of registration with the microchip company (so make sure you register your puppy’s microchip number with Avid).

Limitations
This guarantee is non-transferable. If a dog has been bred, the guarantee becomes null and void. Our puppies are for companionship only. In the event of any litigation concerning this agreement, the purchaser/owner agrees to pay Sirius Puppies LLC. reasonable attorney fees. This warranty does not in any way imply return of a pet. Credits will be in house only, no cash or credit refund. This document is not valid outside of the United States in any way.
